Gardenia Jasminoides Belmont, also known as Cape Jasmine, is a large evergreen jasmine bush that features exceptionally large, dark green glossy leaves and stunning, rose-like, ivory white flowers that are 4 inches across. The flowers are wonderfully scented, the plant blooms heavily from late spring through early summer, sporadically flowering all the way into fall.
It makes a great accent shrub or hedge, but Belmont is by far the best variety of Gardenia to be grown indoors. It does well in pots and the cut flowers make wonderful, fragrant bouquets.
Grown outside it can grow 5-8 ft tall and 3-6 ft wide and thrives in full sun to partial shade. Zone 7-12.
You will receive two 1 year starter plants that are ready to pot up or plant, they will grow quickly and will flower next spring.
Plants will be shipped bare-root and can only be shipped Priority. Shipping day will depend on your location as we do not ship over the weekend to avoid the plant sitting in a warehouse.
