Archer's Gold Thyme (Thymus citriodorus 'Archers Gold') has bright gold foliage all year long, plus a nice aroma when crushed. , bearing golden-yellow-green leaves and pink flowers in summer. Its low-growing, mat forming habit and drought tolerance makes it ideally suited for rock gardens, step on lawn replacement and a nice, fragrant container plant also ideal for Fairy Gardens. If left to grow it will cascade nicely out of containers.
